Not bad - 2 Percocets, 3 Ibuprofens, and an aisle seat next to my wife. Got home around 10 pm. Thanks for asking.

You figured it out... I painted the car as a giant Toyota "T" logo.

One more night, one more color... Should be 50/50 compliant.

Simple rules for painting your race car the first time:

    1) Don't pick a metallic color the first time out
1a) Just stick with one, simple, regular, normal color.
    2) Don't paint in the dark
    3) Don't put the car WAAAYYY back in the corner

It will be interesting to see how the tape comes off tonight. Love or hate the exterior, since the interior didn't get painted 'cause of the cold, it will look stupid up close. Guess that gives me something to do prior to Hallett.

You can re-pait it at Hallett. Just rent one of the deals like DFL did.

I thought for Hallet we were going to build an entire CMC car before the Saturday night party.

    Well, it's not maroon anymore.

I'm pretty sure you guys will be able to see it on track. Not super happy with the way the paint went down - ton of orange peel. But, since it was last hour due to the cold, I was happy to get it presentable. It will pass 50/50 ok but don't get too close a look.

Now I just need to get that window sticker laminated up...
