Trina and I participated in the "Relay for Life" in Taylor, TX this weekend. It was a 12-hour "enduro" (7p-7a) of walking to raise money for cancer research. Trina's sister-in-law is battling stage IV colon cancer and is in round 5 of chemo...

At the end (Saturday morning), I had walked almost 11 hours straight and covered approx 30 miles. Needless to say, I was flat worn out. I almost fell out of the Tahoe when we got to the hotel to sleep yesterday.

I can honestly say it was the hardest thing I had ever done in my entire life, with every step from hours 8-11 being painful in my hips, knees, and feet... but it pales in comparison to what a cancer patient goes through daily...

Heads are off. I don't see anything wrong. I only had 25 to 30 psi compression on number eight but it looks great.

Heads coming off isn't a huge task. The only real gotcha going back on is getting all the liquid out of the head bolt holes in the block.

Don't ask how I know this ...

Stonehenge is overrated... I took the walking tour and at the end there was a disclaimer "that they didn't really know why it was there"...

Check the schedule for Silverstone, they run sprorts car races (like SCCA) and you might get to go in just like you would if you were a guest at one of our events.. I arrived there late on a Sunday afternoon and they were locking up but the security officer took us for a quick tour...

I agree-Westminster Abbey should not be followed by- Wow. I lived there for 3 years and would only say Wow about the indian and thai food. As Churchill said "its impossible to convict for sodomy, half the jury doesn't think its possible and the other half are doing it"

Only if you have a long tube that will reach the bottom of the hole. Blowing down from the deck surface will not work. We did this and it still hydrolocked a headbolt hole and blew the bottom out. Since the OEM headbolts have a threadlocker on them, they seal the hole and compress the liquid inside. We all know how well that works out.
