Hey, it's weight down low, haha.
It is crazy just the 30 lb difference in Marshall's T-5 vs. my Tremec. An extra 25 lbs over the Tremec does not sound enjoyable.

A book I just read about an open road racer tells a story about getting an error message on his M5, in German, while driving around 140mph...so he called BMW tech support, in Germany, without slowing down! Funny stuff, though crazy

They're pretty amazing cars, have a much greater appreciation for them just in the week I've been there.

We have a grenade launcher that sends a lazer to a target and programs the projectile to explode 1 meter past the distance, killing anyone hiding behind a barrier. But yeah...Germans make great cars.

Got a tetnus shot...one too many cuts/stabs from 40 year old rusty metal. Good news is the doctor does not think the jaw spasms or muscle ache are tetnus; shot just a precaution. Other good news is there is a lot less rust on the underside of the car and most of the paint is done (she's purty!). Bad news, can't get the gears to come off the tranny...think I'll start a new thread for that one...

So this is what I have been working on. Owned it for 13 years and drove it for the first time yesterday at 2 am. Later yesterday it made the homecoming parade with my daughter riding on it.

Of course it wouldn't be a story until you hear someone yell that car is on fire-call the fire department! Just smoke from wiring insulation on the ammeter line-no flames. Though it got pretty interesting when I was disconnecting the wiring and it jumped the starter and it started moving forward since it was in gear.
