Casting porosity in the head? Did the head literally just start leaking water into the cylinder? Slowly at first, no real impact on performance, too slow to let it run hot and just got worst with heat cycles?

Just a thought. I have an opti... what do I know.

Do you run an O2 in each bank?
Only one, and of course it's on the other side. I blew a fuel pump fuse at TWS back in April of last year I think it was. Never figured out what happened, but replaced the fuse ran it a few weekends and haven't had it blow since. I just don't know how a whole bank would go lean.

I'm not 100% sure. I noticed the water was a little bit low after MSR-H, but I hadn't checked it in a while and I had replaced the thermostat at one point so I know I lost a bit of water there, but not much.

I've leaned out the Driver's side bank twice, so the O2 is now in that bank.

It's always been the passenger side I've had problems with.

I would also think that it would have thrown a code if one bank went lean.

On the flight back to Houston right now after a 4 day trip to Vegas for work, definitely in a "weakened" state right now. This trip was right after a 4 day trip to Cancun to pre-celebrate my 30th birthday (which is today).

Have to load the truck/trailer and roll out to NOLA early tomorrow morning. Flight is already delayed for a couple hours due to weather.

    God help me.

    Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Take a breath, unload the car at the track, and have fun.

Only if it goes 20% or 25% lean under light load.

I just got back from a trip involving an amphibious carrier. It was pretty awesome but now the stupid ground won't stop moving.
