    Toyo Buck?

    Lots o' questions...

What is the normal procedure for getting Toyo bucks? I thought they only paid out for top 3 in Races 1 and 3, didn't know it was actually top 5! Every little bit helps!

I understand it's a little late for the EC event, but can someone walk me thru it for next year? Who with NASA has to sign the application? Series Directors and above? For the official standings, a printout of MyLaps is what is needed? What about for the Championship standings, a print out of Glenn's excel spreadsheet? Have to send in one application per race?

Am I correct in these timeframes? You can wait til just before 120 days to send in the form and results, then wait til just before 90 days before they expire. So theoretically, you have 7 months to collect before you have to buy?

The rest seems pretty straight forward. Am I missing anything else?

You are not too late for ECR.

Either get a copy of the final results or wait until Mylaps is up and copy the results. Then you just need to mail the form to Al or Glenn to sign.

James is right. send me your forms and i'll sign them and send them to you or Toyo.

i manage mine so that i send two or 3 events worth of forms to Toyo at the same time.
in my current stack is Nationals and ECR. they will be sent this week.

this seems like something we need to talk about at the banquet or at the first event of 2010.

I received an email from Jeremy Croiset a few days ago. He sent a form that required your contact info and SS# for the 1099 to arrive with your check. I sent this to Glenn last night as it seems CMC was forgotten.

Send me an email to matt@aggie97.com and I will copy you on the email and form.

I did mention that it was my understanding that winnings under $600 were NOT to be reported to the IRS....but I could be wrong.

With contract labor, 1099 amounts get reported, but up to $600 is tax exempt. Anything over that gets taxed at a higher rate than a regular w2. Same rules for winnings.
