    Racing oil & cats

I have a couple of bullet cats still welded into the exhaust from my streetcar days and I don't particularly want to deal with the logistics of removing them. If I switch from the VR1 stuff I've been running to something like Redline's race oil (the red bottle, not the blue) would it kill the cats in short order?

Mitch - I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you have a cat....hehe....just thought I'd save you the trouble

I dont think switching the oil to a race blend will impact the cats. That said, who cares if it did?

The last thing you want to do is end up w/ a clogged cat.

Ummm... Actually the last thing you want is for the grass under your car to catch on fire when you go off.

It would really be better if you got rid of the cats...

if you don't go off every now and then you aren't trying to go fast

oh and ditch the cats, its not a street car so no need to have them anymore
