Wow Casey... you are so close to going racing. Maybe you should consider to just holding on to it for a little while until things improve.

This car doesn't need much to go racing.

I have to agree with James. There is a LOT of car there and it's been well maintained.

Cody - if you have the room, hang onto it. You clearly have way more than $4000 into that car, and couldn't duplicate another for anything close.

I bought my previous 16' open trailer (now owned by Nick Steel) from him nearly 10 years ago - Cody's a stand up guy.

Thanks guys. It bums me out seeing it just sit there when I go through the garage, but if there is no action at this price I will likely just hang onto it.

Just change your perspective. I've had the '69 sitting in the garage in various states of operation since 1985. The thought needs to be "I can't wait to drive it when... "

Michael has a '66 Mustang "ready" to be "started" for over 4 years... It still looks the same today as it did when he bought it (minues the missing 6-cyl engine and trans)... One day he "might" get around to building it.

*Looks at nearly stripped teal '91 RS in the garage*
Yeah, I know that feeling. The disassembly was the easy part. Going to get started on it any day now (as I have for the past 3+years). I think I've got all the good parts I need for it, minus a windshield and battery, and some assembly required.

*edit* FWIW, Cody is one of those crazy guys (like Nick V and myself) that started out autocrossing our '91 Ford Rangers (yes, we each had one) in Monster Truck Class at A&M.

Since we are in thread de-rail.... I have a 1980 Triumph Tr7 with a Buick V6 sitting in pieces in my shop. My first car that I drove much in highschool was a '75 Triumph Tr7 that Dad and I put in a Ford V6. So I have this sickness with the cars that I can't seem to break.

cripes, its chronic. I have an '87 Monte Carlo SS sitting in storage since, oh, 2004 when i started building #95. First car i bought with all my own money, back on march 16th 1995. bone stock, got a 2nd spare T56 I'd intended to throw under it.

don't sell the car. however your car seems quite nice for what you're offering.
