Congratulatiosn Michael and Marshall. That's an awesome accomplishment, especially in a competitive region like Texas. You should both be proud!

I'll take a stab it in as few of words as possible.

Start of weekend I trailed Michael by 10 points. I thought before the weekend that realistically I needed to win all four to have a chance to catch him.

R1. Michael takes pole. now 11 points behind.
R1: Micahael wins... I finish 2nd. now 14 points behind.

R2: I win with Michael 3rd. now 9 points behind

R3. I win pole... now 8 points behind. I win..Michael 2nd...in one heck of a race between us. Now 5 points behind.

R4: I win, This was one heck of a race with Jay leading most of the race and me in 2nd and Michael was laying back coasting in 3rd, until Jay locks up his tires and I get past and Michael moves to 2nd... He wins the championship by 2 points. Had Michael finished 3rd...we would have tied on points with drops, but Michael would still have won on total points in a tie breaker.

It was a fun weekend with some awesome races.

    Frank,
Thanks for the kind words. I really wish your car would have been able to run on Sunday. Hopefully you can work out the issues and come out swinging in January.

Wow, I have to say I've played that numbers game a few more times than I would have liked. Awesome that it comes down to a few hard fought races.
