I just figured out how I can win some races next year. You guys cheat and use both hands on the wheel. I NEVER have both hands on the wheel for more than a few seconds. Next year I think we should zip tie everyone's right hand to the shifter knob. Lets see how fast you are then. LOL

I never even think about it until I watch the video and then it bothers me. Could be costing me a tenth here and there.

OK, so do I take it that a seasoned veterans solution to 'driving the mirror' is to not check the mirror at all?

...And you still have to be able to get out in 10 seconds

There are plenty of guys that either:

    1. Never use the mirrors
    2. Seldom use the mirrors
    3. They use them but are in no way adjusted properly
    4. They don't care because you are behind them, and they will use the rule that the passing car does not have the right of way.
    5. They just don't care!

The point was I didn't know he got that close to passing, as the last time I looked he was behind me and not at my back tire. He didn't have the right to be there, as I didn't think his brakes could get him there, so I didn't check.

Now for you, Mr. "I can outbrake you by three car lengths", I had no clue you could come from 2 car lenths back to pass me going into T1. It will be interesting to see what that FR system does on a 3100lb car with aero...

I think I could make a pretty accurate prediction but Mindy says I shouldn't use that kind of language on a public forum

I was just happy to have held you and Frank off for a while at the start of R2.
As for the future of the FR system....I am going to start work on an IR-based collision alert system that will be mandatory safety equipment in AI for 2013...no need to check your mirrors

    Brian,
It was fun trying to figure out "how" I could get around you. Seat time... Seat time... Seat time...

So when can we expect to learn the fate of the FR system?
