    PFC01 or Porterfield R4?

The PFC-01 is my favorite pad. Dan is using the R4 and obviously does okay. The 01's have been going up every time I order. Any info on the R4?

Dan uses R4's 'cause that's what I told him to order and he seems to like them. He hasn't used anything different on the CMC car. I've used the R4's for many years and like them. Since I like them and haven't had any problem with them, I've had no incentive to try anything different. Neither one of us would be useful for a comparison with other options.

The Carbotechs felt okay and were less money but I went through them almost twice as fast as the 01's.

Thanks Richard. I know Michael is paying $350.00-$375.00 for PFC-01's for the Stoptech's. Any idea what the R4's run?

They appear to be $196 - 20% for being a NASA member...

    No kidding.
I hate paying $350/set but they last about 5 events so I figure if I switch to a different pad I would I would only save about $20-30/event. That is about the same price as a case of Keystone Light so I'll just live with it. ;^)
