    I also get a season out of cheap autozone rotors at $36 a piece. Of course...the negative is that all the folks with your mega dollar brake kits are out braking me like crazy.

    Big deal-your brakes last forever but you kill a set of tires every weekend. Quit sliding the car to slow it down and use your brakes some.

    How can you tell they are out braking you when they are behind you?

    You might have a point about tires.... but they do last almost two weekends.

    I had a new set for MSR-C. My rears are about 75% used up. The fronts are about 50%. I was shocked.
    They started @ 5/32".

    The spec Miata guys were convinced that Toyo didn't use the same compound when they reintroduced the RA1. 900 pound gorilla in the room IMO.

    Edit to add: And now they want to go to a stickier tire, in a spec tire series?
