1996 Mustang GT 4.6 - Parts list, setup, etc...

I’ve been thinking of doing this for a while and just kept putting it off. When I was looking to get into the series I was always looking for build threads and part lists to get an idea of what was involved in building one of these things, and most of the stuff was pretty scattered around. The only time I was able to get a decent parts list was when someone had a car for sale, and even then there was usually minimal information. Sadly it’s not a complete build thread, but I will try to document anything I do in the future.

Below is the parts list and a bit of setup info, and at some point will post some issues I had and how I fixed them. Hopefully it can help someone out in the future who’s looking to get into this series.

Also, please feel free to point out anything that is not legal. I think everything is legal, but I’ve been wrong before.

    Parts List:
    Engine
    - 1996 Romeo Iron 4.6 block – bored .020 over on rebuild and used 11cc (stock) dish SpeedPro hypereutectic pistons, stock cast iron crank, and stock rods. For my future rebuild I plan on using 16cc (stock for 01+) dish pistons to lower the compression ratio to reduce the likelihood of detonation
    - Ford Racing PI heads 2004 casting
    - I’m not 100% sure on this, but I think I have a Melling oil pump

    Setup/Weight/Power/etc:
    - Weight with 1/2 tank of fuel and driver: ~3290
    - RWHP/TQ: In January it was 267/307, but went to the dyno a couple weeks ago before TWS and it was 252/296. Plan to go again sometime before TWS race in October to try and figure out if it's the low compression in Cyl#1 or the crap parts store coil pack I put on the car that caused the HP drop. Hoping it's the coil pack, but it's likely a cylinder/piston issue.
    - Caster/Camber: Never had it on an alignment rack so I don't know. Both are maxed out.
    - Toe: 0/16". Need to get this back to ~1/16" or so out at some point.
    - Ride Height: No clue, but way above max
    - Corner Weights: Don't know.
    - Springs: H&R super race springs. From what I've read these are progressive rate springs, with the fronts being 950-1050 lb/in and rears 260-300 lb/in
    - Sway Bars: Stock 96 GT front and rear. Would love to find a stiffer rear bar but haven't put any effort into looking for one.
    - Rear Track Width: Don't remember what it is but I'm using 1" spacers. I'm planning to reduce the rear track width by at least 1/2" to try to get rid of some push and loosen the rear some.
    - Front Track Width: 73.25" with 3/4" spacers.
    - Water Temp: 85-90* day the highest I've seen since I fixed my cooling issues have been ~205*.
    - Oil Temp: Saw it at 270* once, but typically ~250-260* while on track, ~230-240* after coming off track on a cool-down lap.
    - Oil Pressure: 50+ PSI while driving on track. When coming into pits after a race/session, it will drop down to ~6psi @700RPM. It jumps up when I hit the gas, so I just keep the RPM above 1000 or so and it will hang out around 15-20 PSI.
