    SN95 Rear End Parts

    - Ford Racing Traction-Lok for 28 spline axles - $100? (probably has 20 or so weekends on it, been rebuilt once)
    - Stock 1996 28 spline axles (63k miles)- make an offer
    - Stock 2.73 gears - make offer
    - Stock 1996 differential - make offer

Figured I'd post this stuff here first before going to Craigslist.

My 97 cobra came stock with 3:27 gears. The gt's from 96-98 should have been the same.

Stock was 2.73 with a manual, but there was an option to upgrade to 3.27's. Pretty sure these are 2.73's, but I will double check.

Ratio numbers should be stamped on the gears. I didn't know that once and ended up with 3.08s instead of the described 3.27's. Ah youth.....

I'm looking for a good, tall, highway gear to use on a future build...

Confirmed they were 2.73's. 41 teeth on ring gear / 15 teeth on pinion = 2.733. Repeating of course*.

Bonus points for anyone that actually gets that reference.

No, eventually planning on building a '65 Cobra Daytona Coupe and need a good highway gear for getting to/from work... many years down the road, but have to start planning now.

This just sold on the Bring-a-trailer auction.

As for gears, runs something more aggressive and then put a Gearvendor overdrive on it.
