    Fox Body - Tire fit

Ok you Fox Body guys, figured no better place than here to ask. I'm trying to fit a larger tire under the Lemons/WRL/Chump '92 Fox. Running 245/45/17's now, how big can we go without any major expenditures?

275s are no issue but you could squeeze a bit more in.

I used to run 265/40R17 on my lowered 91 with rolled fender lips with no problems.

Camaro, Mustang, doesn't matter to me, I'll race it.

Bill, here is a link on what I did for my front fenders.

Being WRL, not sure how "pretty" you want to make it but it is a good low-cost fix.

I just used a BFH on my rears, fronts I did the same and had to trim a bit with a cutoff wheel. That was also trying to get close to max track width, if you are not trying to do that, it should be quite easy with the right offset. Michael's solution is much more elegant, my car is pretty terrible looking.

The proper tool will get you a bit farther than a BFH. I made my own tool to help out...
