Red face TWS - Storm Troopers new bullet!

I just want to throw this out there so there are no surprises.

I lost my motor in July and am finally getting it running again (with a little help, Thanks David). I have no time for a dyno before TWS. I have duplicated what I had in the motor, except this is an aluminum short block. (so I will take a 50 pound penalty) Top end is the same, same restrictor.
    Same nut behind the wheel

image.jpg I bent a rod, broken piston, chipped rod next to it.

May the force be with you, Because "Orange is Fast!"

I have no issue with you running without a new Dyno.

I'm fine too. It's the last event of the year. Much easier to just do it at the track at Houston.

    Pfft... we'll see.

Sean: "I didn't think we'd get this far. (As we set the car on the ground with a complete drivetrain in it well before a late dinner)"

Of course he didn't have enough motor/transmisison fluid on hand to fire it up so I could witness wether or not I can actually use a torque wrench. That LS motor is almost nearly cheating. And fancy adjustable springs...

L33 would be better (for anything but CMC), but LM4 should put down the same numbers as the old motor. Never realized the Trailblazers got aluminum blocks, cool find.

So with Dave's supervision we fired it up, and ran smooth and sweet!
