    What was the failure mechanism? Proctor's was the brake push rod coming off of the brake pedal if I remember correctly.

    I heard it was caliper bolt fell out. Don't know if it was front or rear. I have had issues with rear caliper bolts but have never seen a GM front caliper lose a bolt.

    Both of em.
    The 99-04 mustang and 98-02 camaros run the exact same caliper I believe. Small bolt holding the caliper to the pin, loctite is required for those. I also hit every single bolt on my car with torque seal to make sure nothing has moved and I check every fastener between race weekends.

    Holy crap. I once missed a bolt on my Z06, but the caliper swung into the rim and still worked so I finished my drive home with mere downshifting.

    I lost my right front caliper in R1 last lap going into 15

    The LS front caliper is not the same as any year ford. The rears are the same, however.

    Glad it was just cosmetic damage Shawn. Had fun pulling the quarter out too!
