Mike's text info is he is fine. He found some dirt in the bus stop and found the guard rail. car is damaged. Sounds like a pretty heavy hit so glad he is ok. hopefully some beer, a truck, some chain and redneck engineering can get him back on track for sunday but not sure how bad it is. As fast as he was flying, he may have moved that guardrail a TON!
    Ah, fugg it.

And They will prop send him a bill to fix the guardrail too. They charge for track damage.

The front end of the car is too damaged to race. It's going to be a fairly hefty body shop bill, but it is repairable. I'm fine, just pissed, frustrated, etc. More later.

Rule number 1 - don't scare the wife.

Most importantly - glad you're ok. You can fix the car.

So many people ate the Armco. Really makes me appreciate the nothing that there is for us to hit on our local tracks. On the other hand, we have no real 4th gear corners.

Glad you are OK Mike and the car can be repaired. It was looking like a good run for you at Nats. Love to see some video and pics from Nats if anyone has any to share.
