    On my T-5, I swapped to billet keys in the 3/4 slider and haven't had any issues since breaking the stamped stock keys back in 2011.

    At this point we believe in billet keys for sure 3/4 and a steel fork. We've been using stock plastic fork pads based on all the reading we've done. Also believe in somewhat smaller tolerance in the shim pack.

    We also watch for 3/4 blocker wear since we believe that coupled with mainshaft "nose" bearing opens up the room for it to get stuck in 4th.
