iPhone 5 in front running Harry's LapTimer, go pro in rear. Ditching go pro and putting second iPhone 5. Phenomenal video, quick charging.

Anything new to report after a year of use?

I'm also interested in everyone's experience with their camera setup. The gopro thing is a PITA. If I remember to start it, I forget to stop it and get hours of footage in the paddock.

I’ve been using an IPhone 6 for while now. Harry’s is awesome! The only thing I’ve struggled with is finding a suitable mount that reduces vibration in the video

I've been happy with my $50 dash cam, it automagically records when it gets +12v power so you don't have to remember to turn it on, it's mostly zero maintenance.

I got a pair of sunglasses for Xmas that have a camera built into the nose bridge. I'll be testing them out at the kart track tomorrow night and will report back. Would be nice to be able to click the go button and slide them on and know the camera is on.

I ordered one of these: https://www.amazon.com/YI-1080P60-Da...dash+cam&psc=1

It's got a bunch of features that I'll probably disable. Ultimately I decided on this one due to it's cheap cost, view angle, and 1080@60fps. It should start/stop with car power which is the main feature I wanted.

I almost bought this camera with two positionable lenses, meaning I could do front/back with one camera potentially. I decided against this one because it was only 720@30fps.

Glasses were a bust karting. Great view when stopped but get blurry with speed...would be cool POV footage during a race but not something I'd want to try and defend contact with.
