    2005 Spec Iron Mustang $ 17.5k Must go, make offer

    Professionally set up car. Use for DE, Spec Iron, comp license, or add some cams/lexan, and race in American Iron


    Torsen, 3.73 gears, FR ABS, GT 500 brakes, Illicit motorsports cage, very well done



    All Ford Racing Spec Iron parts on car except for tranny scoop. FR rear sway bar included, but not installed

    Sorry to see you are selling the car Chris. If there is anybody thinking about a S197 build, you would be better to snap up this car. Jason isn't building any more of them. The workmanship on the cars he built for the Spec Iron series was equal to the FR500/BossR factory cars and they are light as S197s go. Cams and headers will make AI power with the 4.6 or simply bolt in a Coyote if you don't want mess with the 4.6 innards. The 4.6 bottom end is supposed to be good to 450 hp. It would be a good AI platform to start with and is already logged in class. I would hope it would fit easily into the new Nasa pony car class I have been hearing about too.
