Didn't we have twenty at Hallett one year? I think we have raced most of these guys in the past.

Sounds like poor planning. I've strategically scheduled 2 ankle surgeries for post race season.

Why aren't you signed up for next weekends event at HPR?

I just watched the TA2 race at Indy, what a great example of what NOT to do at nats, these guys were all over each other, what a mess!

Also, reminder of the Tim Bell T12 brake failure, don't go to the inside, 130mph into someones door will probably be a life ender.

I believe there will be a mandatory drivers meeting Thursday(?) night if prior nationals experience is any indicator. NASA heads preach that in order to win the championship you have to have a functioning car to get to Sundays championship race. Bottom line, use your head during the qualifying races and dont put yourself or another drivers car in danger of being damaged beyond repair, otherwise you could be on the trailer much sooner than you'd like. I guess you could say that goes for the test and tune sessions Wednesday and Thursday.

TA2 can be a giant demo derby. Find Jason Hart's hero lap 1 last year at COTA going into T12...
    Ah, fugg it.

I don't ever want to know the feeling he had when he realized he had no brakes. James?

Not fun.. you kind of very quickly go through some how to not hit anything scenarios.. in my case I chose wrong. I wished I had hooked it right instead of trying to hook it left and I think I might have avoided the tire wall at MSRH. I think the tendency is to try to make it on around the corner and maybe the better place is to bail out the opposite direction.

The second failure wasn't as scary, since I had felt something wrong before it went wrong and I knew where to bail from Michael's video of Hallett.

If we are talking about how the Nationals should go... something this should be the target. Some the hardest and cleanest racing I have seen. All be it minus 2 wheels.
