Done with floor epoxy. Went with a small American business product called “ColoredEpoxies”. Great company, great customer service, and so far seems to be a strong super durable coating.

    Next project: Electrical, lighting.

I wish. Insulation is rediculous! $6500ish for 2” spray foam. That’s gonna be last on the list and if I happen to have spare cash laying around.

Driveway, electrical, and lighting plus a privacy fence is next.

It’s absolutely worth it IMO, turned my shop into a proper building instead of a tin shack.

My rental shop is a tin shack, it's awful in there right now in the middle of summer.

Insulating and air conditioning my garage was a complete game changer for me. I can spend way more time out there and be more efficient at the same time. Productivity goes way up and I enjoy it way more...

And I'll bet your tools don't turn into Martian dust nearly as quickly.

Wife and I have worked in the 100+ degrees of heat over the past few weekends and finally got 100amp service run to the shop hooked up successfully. Also, finished the lighting and epoxy flooring. Glad to have that finished. Now its time to move all my crap from the 2 car garage to the shop, and then after, its fencing and driveway to the shop.

Damn, sometimes I just wanna work on the car, but the shop itself has zapped me of all my time.

BTW, I agree A/C would be nice. Maybe in a few years. Right now, Im surviving inside it with a steady flow of ice water.

FYI about the lighting. I ordered 6x 8ft LED tube lights 8500lm 72watts each. Two of the tubes were slightly bent, but worked just fine but when I contacted the seller to inquire if I could get two replacement tubes, they over reacted and offered to send me TWO COMPLETE SIX PACKS!! So, I decided to put in 9 tubes in the shop and 2 in the garage.

If anyone is interested: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Motivated sellers.
