New Edge Rear Lip Spoiler Mounting Brackets

    Hello again racers,
Following my successful post about how to fix a nagging power steering reservoir leak, I have another question.
I would like to install a NASCAR style lip spoiler onto my 2003 ST5 Mustang, but I am finding it hard to find brackets.
I have built a nice blade to fit the trunk profile from 1/4" lexan but I am stumped on how to mount it to the trunk.
Being an old oval track racer, I like the looks of these brackets from Fivestar, but I am not sure if they will have any curve built into them. and they are a little too much $$ to just pull the trigger on them and hope for the best.

I would love to see what creative solutions you guys have come up with.

Thank you again for any tips.

I ran a home built spoiler on my 2000 GT in AI for the first few races and most of when it was an HPDE car. was all thin sheet steel that I welded up. Worked great. PM me your email and I will see if I can find some old photos of it on the hard drive.
    Ah, fugg it.
