    Bellhousing Alignement

With all the setbacks I am finally ready to install the new trans. I have never aligned a bellhousing before but I have watched a lot of videos on it. Not sure I feel comfortable doing this w/o help.

Anyone local that could come by and make sure I do this correctly? No I do not have a lift yet. Or I could bring the car to you. I have asked a couple shops around here and I cant swing the cost right now and still race.

    TIA

    Is it a non-OEM bellhousing?

What transmission are you running Mike? I know the TKO600's definitely need to be in perfect alignment but my old 3550 was very forgiving.

Which bellhousing? Is it just getting an indicator setup to see runout that concerns you?

I had a machine Shop friend made me a set of offset dowels for my QuickTime bell housing for my 4.6. They are a bitch to get perfect.

So the bell housing is from from Ford Racing. But from the guy who sold it to me to the guy that did the work on it said to make sure I align the bell housing. Tremec has a tolerance of .005. Michael its a tko 600. You told me Marshal aligned yours and it was out too. I did not spend all this money for an upgrade to not do everything I can to make it last. TTW just did a tko 600 for some old cmc car and they needed offests too.
