					July 28-29 High Plains Raceway

We will be racing at High Plains Raceway July 28-29. It's a couple hours north of Pueblo, but the track is pretty special and was just repaved over the winter. I hear it's faster, so we'll likely be resetting some lap records. If you want a shot at Flyin Bryan, this is it! Traditionally July has a really good turnout and traditionally you guys aren't doing anything down there because if you go outside you'll melt. It's a bit milder up here, plus it's dry. If you really feel the need to dyno, there are plenty of options along the way. I use RMCR (Rocky Mountain Competitive Research) in Colorado Springs. They're all of 10 minutes from my house and are NASA friendly. Finish Line up in Denver is another that comes to mind, cars seem to dyno pretty consistently at these locations. Here's a link to the track:

Here's a Youtube video of some knuckle dragger driving it.

Here are a few quick facts from Dan Williams, NASA RM Director.

 1. Test and tune will be for NASA drivers only. Sign up through the track on https://www.motorsportreg.com/

 2. One race will be a championship race. Likely 2 races Saturday. Sunday 45 minutes with a fun race in the afternoon. Unless you guys don't want that. 2 x 25 minute races could be done as well.

 3. I ordered trophies like the ones they had in Texas but in Rocky Mountain style.

 4. Give away prizes of high quality. For example $200 Sparco gloves, $100 gift certificates, etc

 5. Food will be even better than PPIR.

 6. Band playing after awards and food.

We'd love to see you come up and race if you can. We'll have a car with a fresh R badge out there as well.
