Be prepared for some cars being illegal once R888's are installed. I got a set of 275-40-17 for my LX. Each tire is 1/2" wider than the RA1's. I measures the inside lip of an unmounted R888 vs a RA1. The RA1 was 10.5", the R888 was 11".
What was your takeaway?
This 16" is approx. 1/4 wider mounted.
A smidge larger OD as well.
I'll have one on display under the Argent Lab Pavillion at Hallett.

What's the going prices you guys are seeing for the R888s? I thought there were only going to be a few dollars more than the RA1s.
I got the RA1s last year from Boudy for a tick under 200ea shaved, but am only finding the R888s around 220ea unshaved.
