Same song, different verse, could be better but it's always worse....
OK, I am only going to answer your questions and add a statement and I am done with this discussion.Originally Posted by chicane23

You are the griggs nuthugger and expert so I figured you would know who, if anyone, was running a griggs setup in AI at nationals. Those at the front don't run it because it's been proven it can be beaten with cheaper and lighter parts, brands that are more simple to setup and maintain, and companies that actually offer contingencies both regionally and nationally. We leave the bling "must have" crap for the AIX "money equals speed so worship me" clan which apparently you fit into so well.
Trust me, we don't wonder why you don't participate here anymore...we are actually thankful you don't and you only show once a year to make an ass of yourself. Especially when you insult us behind our backs any chance you can get and come back a year later claiming us as friends. I personally can't think of one positive thing you have said about us, or done for AI/CMC Texas or NASATX for atleast 2 years. I would think you would have figured out why your phone doesn't ring anymore but apparently you are so self absorbed you just don't get it.
And as for embarassing me, the only embarassment for me was having ever been associated with you or your "club griggs" bullshit mentality. It certainly didn't earn me any favors with this racing family and got me started off on the wrong foot with what to expect and only to offend people. I am thankful that I changed my thinking and focused on the strengths of this group instead of ONLY pointing out the faults as if my shit didn't stink.
And I agree with Adam, same childish shit, new year, and I sort of wonder who forgot to ban your profile from the last time we found you trashing this group.
Please take your drama and go away and STAY away. Todd, I know you are trying to be positive with the welcome mat, but this is one case I think this group as a whole will disagree.
The End.
Ah, fugg it.
this thread is about AI Engine Requirements, lets keep it on topic and take this BS offline. the responces are getting too personal now.
Can I put a Ferrari engine in my Mustang? Would that be legal?Originally Posted by GlennCMC70

Matt,
Thank you for showing your true colors, I do greatly appreciate it.
Glenn,
I'm very sorry to cloud this thread, but I did need to clarify things due to the incorrect information that was stated.

I had this conversation with JWL at nationals and any parts on the car must be OEM Ford, Chevy or Mopar...mix and match as you like, but no "non-oem Ford Chevy or Mopar" parts. Rules are a little iffy in my eyes because that part is in the "chassis" section and not in the "general" section to rule over all other sections like engine, suspension and brakes. Ask before you proceed in otherwords.Originally Posted by RichardP
