Spent a very productive day with the Mosty Bros, Clifton, MFW and Kyri working on BFP and I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time on Saturday to help get the car back in shape.

Massive gratitude to Michael and Marshall (and thank your Dad again for me please!) for their generosity!!

I was pretty sure that the first time MFW worked on my car it would be with a plasma cutter in one had and a big grin on his face, but the help with the tranny was much appreciated!

It's not official but safe to say we finally are under #3500 (yeah, pathetic but I feel better just getting to this point).
Oh, and we have a fourth gear...whooop!

Washed ECR grime off the car yesterday. Fixed the alignment issue and installed a new fuel tank w/ Mitch and Mike last weekend and also changed the oil and diff fluid last Sunday. Today? Gutted the rear half of the trailer in prep for a remodle. Patched a few holes in the roof of it too.
Off to the dyno next Sat at Alamo.

On track for MSR-C in 2 weeks.

Yanked the blowed up motor and poured the requisite trans fluid all over the garage floor. Hoping to have it ready to run at TWS. Strangely though, the last two trips to College Station resulted in rather catastrophic oil pump failures. I'm hoping to kick that monkey off my back this year.

Mine fired for the first time since the end of April '09 yesterday... but only for about 5 seconds until enough oil reached the place where the oil filter should have been... knew I was missing something on the checklist.

After pumping at least three of the 12 quarts onto the floor, I shut it down, installed the oil filter and then warmed it up with no big issues.

One more weekend and it should be good to go in "X" trim for MSR-C.

Chris flew home a week ago today. Marginal on crutches. Lots of secondary issues from the hospital stay that have him very down on energy. He's recovering but it's going to take a while...
