8.5.2 Early GM 305 cars may use up to 1.6 ratio individual stud mounted roller rocker arms.
Is that for carbed 305s or for TPI 305s also? And what kind of power difference will it really even make?

1.6 Rockers + shorties = 10hp on my 305 TPI .

Did that effect your torque very much?

Now I have a question about the power chart for CMC2, it says Early 305 TPI add 5lbs to torque colum....does that mean instead of 310 TPI motors are allowed 315 maximum before adding weight?

No, that just means you start off at 3250lbs.
Ok, not really. You are correct.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just making sure I was reading it properly.

Yeah they upped it to 315 for the 305 cars. With the heads and intake they've allowed you can get up there if you have the ca$h to spend.
And yeah, something like 7-8 ft. lbs. is what it added to my car (shorties and rockers).

Just to ensure clarity, only the 305TPI cars are allowed the 5lbft, not 305 carbed cars. All 305s, carbed or TPI, can use the 1.6 rockers.
