2 hours into it, got the intake manifold off. A lot dirt and trash in there. Now on to the exhaust manifold and valve covers.
Golf was a lot easier.......but oh the andreline on an invert.

I got the engine back in the 55 and everything under the car all buttoned up. All I have left is the intake, rad. and wiring.
I have a question about the bolts that hold the driveshaft in. Ever since I bought the car the bolts that hold the shaft to the pinion flange were loose after ever event. I tried blue Locktight.........still no luck. Last time (right after MSRH) I used red Locktight. Getting those bolts out this time took lots of heat. They were really in there. Suggestions (new bolts, different type locking compound)?
