    Bryan,
You have to remember I'm an engineer, so old big stone buildings are still pretty cool in my nerdy head...

$440.00 later (new valve springs and four new valves plus labor for valve job) and I'm installing the heads now. Right bank is on. May drop it back in tomorrow. Hallett will be here sooner than you think.

2 hours into it, got the intake manifold off. A lot dirt and trash in there. Now on to the exhaust manifold and valve covers.

I45? I hate I45. Luckily I go to Alvarado and far south Fort Worth on business so Hwy 6 to I35 is actually faster and a much more pleasant drive, at least to me.

I got the engine back in the 55 and everything under the car all buttoned up. All I have left is the intake, rad. and wiring.

I have a question about the bolts that hold the driveshaft in. Ever since I bought the car the bolts that hold the shaft to the pinion flange were loose after ever event. I tried blue Locktight.........still no luck. Last time (right after MSRH) I used red Locktight. Getting those bolts out this time took lots of heat. They were really in there. Suggestions (new bolts, different type locking compound)?
