Looks like I found at least part of my issue. Even though the engine was running smooth the plug going to the #8 coil was not all the way plugged in. That is what the P0358 code was for. I ran it on the trailer after clearing the codes and plugging in the #8 coil and no codes now. I still don't see how that makes the engine run so damn lean but we will see.

Spark plug wires will get ya every time

It was actually the wires that connect the coil on plug to the harness since there are no spark plug wires with coil on plug.

That bank would have pulled fuel out because it saw unburned fuel in the exhaust stream.
