Fastener Nerds
I found this earlier and thought it was interesting info, I'm the guy that torques every fastener on my "insert machine here". I have probably 10 torque measuring devices racing from 10 in/lb to 750ft/lb.
What I found interesting is the K table towards the bottom showing a lightly oiled plain fastener is more slippery than a dry one (as you would think) BUT an oiled zinc fastener is actually less slippery than a dry one.
Also good data with loctite on the threads, dry clean plain fastener vs clean loctite no change in torque specs.
On zinc it will change the torque spec.
Enjoy!

Yeah but do you have a bolt tensioner? That’s where the big boys play
