It's still a bit over a week away, but has anyone called Hallett to see if, um, it's still there??? Sand Springs (the closest hint of civilization from Hallett) is currently under water. The body of water that has swollen is in between Hallett and Sand Springs. A place can do a lot of drying out in a week but the forecast calls for rain every day next week. I don't know the topography of the area. I'm thinking, at a minimum, there might be some logistical challenges awaiting us...

Hmm, may need to do a lift kit on the tow rig before I leave.

I just called, apparently they're a local high spot so zero flooding on site. Still packing the RAs looking at that forecast.
