I received this from NPR.

There is a Charity Road Race that a group of racers from No Problem Raceway are putting on June 3rd. As you may know, No Problem Raceway is located in Belle Rose, LA on Hwy 996 just one mile off of LA Hwy 70. Unfortunately, it's just a one day (Sunday) event. It will be a busy day. There will be a vendor area, a cruise-in for custom cars & trucks, sports cars, street rods etc., a live band at lunch, touring laps on the race course and a 2 mile foot race early in the morning on the road race course for those so inclined and of course a full day of sports car racing on the 1.8 mile 14 turn Grand Bayou Road Course. Anyone with a current NASA, SCCA, PCA etc. license can compete in the road race. We will use NPR's Grand Bayou Race series rules and there is a class for anything from Formula V to GT-1. All proceeds from the event will go to the Unlocking Autism organization.

My response was that with Road Atlanta, Hallett and Mid-Ohio this year, our long distance batteries are likely running on empty.

But...<<seed...plant...water>>

Doing something like this next year as a series support race...say...at the Grand Prix of Houston, would be AWESOME!!!
