Well, I dove into the wiring diagrams and had a plan for bypassing the ignition switch and anti-theft features on the race car after the thieving bastards hurt my baby. Had my chip reburned to turn off the PATS system and it seems to have worked because it should have not allowed the car to even crank, but it did!!! Kind of neat having a push button!
Started soldering up the wires and new switches about 8:45 tonight and it fired on the first push of the button about 9:50. It idles and revs, but I still have a blinking Theft light which tells me there may still be an issue with getting it to run under load but i will have to wait till this weekend to find out by driving it around the block.
So far, things look pretty good.....I feel a little more at ease now!
