Feels like the season is starting finally

Just random thoughts, but felt the like the race season was getting back up and running for me. Got to watch some of the 24 hours at Daytona. I also think the WRC ran it's first event, so time to fire up the old torrent software so I can see some more racing.

Spent the weekend back in the old garage doing things to prep the car I should have done a month or two ago... ah well, guess I'll fire my crew chief for bad planning ;)

Looking forward to getting to the dyno day next week and then back to the track!

I dynoed. Ran wiring for my new oil cooler fan.
Fabbed mount for new oil cooler.
Installed my right side net, again.
Re-fabbed left side net. Installed new left side net.
Fabbed front lower spoiler support.
Vac'd interior, wiped down with mineral spirits.
Prepped mailer for your tranny bolt.
Watched all of the 24hr.
Saw Costas interview.
Cooked the vid and put up on youtube.

Man, what an inspiration for the racing season!
I ran out to the garage and installed this Daytona-style windshield banner on my racecar for the 24 minute drive to work!!! :wink:

I'm right there with you. Getting the car out of the trailer for the first time since...what was it October we were at MSR-H? :lol: Anyway, it really sank in that we're starting the season.

I spent the weekend just finishing up.

Dyno'ed on Saturday, then watched the 24Hour until it went off on Sunday..... then I re-packed the wheel bearings on the trailer and started cleaning the car.

Only things left are ...front end aligned, bleed brakes, change out tires.
