Newbie in houston

Hey guys! I'm Ross. Live in Pearland, work in Cypress. First time NASA racer. Just lookin to see what guys are in houston and introduce myself. Gonna be running an 86 Z28 as soon as I can re-build the motor and put in a new clutch. Jeremy and i will be doing DE's in some rental mitsubishi eclipse's. Hope to see yo guys at MSR Houston.

I live in Banbury Cross behind Kelly's. I'm putting a 94 together and am in the same boat - race car is not ready. I'll look for you next weekend.

No problem on your car not being ready. Bring a digital camera and a notepad, then spend some time looking around. Not only F-bodies, but any prepped car out there. Ask questions, take notes. You will find most guys love to shoot their mouth off about their cars ;)

Mitch will chime in here any moment about how had did that and the gal just kept saying "Oh God!, Oh God! Oh God!"....... he asked her to at least wait till he was done warming the tires up.

i have a standard "pre flight" speach.
keep all your hands and legs on your side of the car.
its a 20 minute ride.
scream all you want, the car doesnt stop untill the 20 minutes is over.

She's pretty reserved when it comes to this stuff but I really want her to have a good experience it will really help me out in the long run with her wnating to come out to races.
