Sam & Helio stopped by the office today

Penske Racing brought the NASCAR Sprint Cup #77 Mobil 1 car to 800 Bell Street in Houston today. (Beautiful brand new COT car and sounded like the real thing!) Helio Castroneves and Sam Hornish were on hand for an employee presentation, Q&A's and signatures.

Sam is signed on for the whole season with Mobil 1 and they are going after the Rookie of the Year award. The new Mobil 1 commercials for Daytona are bad-ass with White Zombie soundtrack. (I know I'm getting old when AC/DC is broadcast in HEB while grocery shopping and now White Zombie is representing Mobil 1.)

Helio was asked when he was jumping over to NASCAR too and he said "It looks like too much work! Too many cars....too many weekends...I'm having fun right where I am!!!" <<Sam just shook his head & scowled.>> The two of them do make a good Odd Couple.

Lastly, the crowd was filled with women who just wanted to see Helio, but I felt bad for the guy. Other than 1 or 2 comments about his dancing, Sam was the man of the hour and the subject of all the questions. (Note- Helio doesn't work well in the shadows of others.)

Here's a pic of Sam signing MY photo. I told him I'd give him my autograph if he'd give me his. He got a kick out of it and said if he's not doing anything this weekend he'd drop by MSRH. We'll see. :wink:

I'm watching the Vegas race tonight on DVR and Sam just hit the wall.
I was going to change to #77 and that paint scheme but m'boy's got to do a better job before I start representin' him!!!

What's Helio's car #?
