Hung the new gas pedal/arm, set the pad angle, Fertitta welded it (with pimpy welds on the pad so it's grippy), then rehung the pedal. Made new wing endplates as the old ones were illegal. Nick rebuilt the center driveshaft cover (mucho stronger) and re-installed it with the fire bottle on top. Installed fuel test port, 3rd windshield brace, lowered nose a bit. Dropped plumb bobs and will re-square the rearend soon, then restring the whole chassis and check/adjust setup. Then re-corner weight.

Awesome weather, good times with friends.

Took the air hose out of the passenger seat.
Removed the car wash towels from the rear wing.
Put the battery on trickle charge.
Moved the Saleen poster & frame from the roof to the tire rack.
Car is now free of junk and ready to be worked on.
There's always tomorrow.
Gosh it was nice today.

I worked on mine all day Saturday.... Drank too much on Saturday night and didn't touch it on Sunday.

Luckily, we were just going to shoot the red paint and let her sit, so Dad did that anyway without me.

So she is all Red again....now just have to paint the black and get it to the alignment shop and see how much out of align it is.

Hey Mitch... I got your parts on Thursday... MUCHOS GRACIAS!!
