Ok, here's one of my secrets.
I've used this stuff for years with many successes.
Originally $250 US for 5ml, it is now affordable for everyone ($38 ).
I'm a big stereophile and electronic geek.
We use this stuff at work like it's going out of style.
I once put 10 drops on the high voltage (plugs/coil) of a 10 sec. bracket car (drag) and it picked up 16 one hunrdedths (.16).
You shoulda seen this guys (and his cronies) faces.
Classic.
Anyway, it makes valuable electrical contacts more reliable.
This is a cheap place to buy it https://www.micro-tools.com/store/productdetails/22.aspx
One drop on your ipod headphone connector will tell ya.
Think of it as mortar in a joint between bricks.
On a microscopic level, there will be small points where the 2 contacts don't coincide. This stuff is an actual semi-conductor. It's an insulator that changes to a conductor when biased with electron flow.
Neat stuff.
Can make a racecar more reliable.

I got to say, it is this kind of stuff I really dig about this group. Here is our National Champ willing to share some good tech info. Very cool.

Now, I am no JB, but it motivates me to also try to give back to the group. Here is one of my speed secrets. I put about 1/2 a bag of one of these in my gas tank before each race. I highly recommend all CMC competitors try this out at Hallett this weekend. But don't try it until at least Race1.

Glad I could help.

(serious tho about how cool the group is about helping each other)
