About 30 miles north of CS I noticed the a/c on my truck not blowing as cold. Look at the water temp gauge pegged all the way past 260 and its not a good feeling. Pop the hood and see the rad cap basically popped off. I had checked the water that morning and thought that I didn't have it on good enough. But thanks to Glenn/Mitch/Clifton they noticed that the seal was gone on the cap. Luckily I had leftover water and they grabbed the cap off the race car. Filled it up and filled up the overflow twice and it never skipped a beat.
Truck is a 99 Sub 454 with 125k and I am original owner so I know it was the original cap.
