Is any region faster top to bottom than we were last weekend? We know our frontrunners are the best in the country so I feel good looking at how close us back markers were all weekend. R3 was really close. Is this normal for a CMC/CMC2 field to be so close?

R1
1:59.8
2:04.7

R2
2:00.4
2:04.2

R3
1:59.4
2:02.8

R4
1:59.6
2:03.2

in most regions, our guys would run out of Manties for the AI cars... No doubt in my mind CMC in TX is the best in the country!

well i went a looked up the data for the last posted results for Cali (you guys each do another regoin).

CMC-2 w/ 8 drivers:
R1
1:34.040
1:38.226

R2
1:34.455
1:39.539

CMC w/ 6 drivers:
R1
1:37.670
1:40.448

R2
1:37.574
1:39.814

one item to note is CMC-2 times are 4 seconds faster than CMC. Dave Schotz is the hot shoe in CMC-2. he seems to have a .5 to 1 second best lap over Nick Steele.

Track length also makes a big difference. Two seconds at Cresson (1.7 mile) is way different than two seconds at TWS. On a 2.9 mile track with the current national champ and his two clones (as far as being fast as $hit)running up front the last guy out of nine CMC cars runs just 3.4 seconds behind! The top six were only 1.9 seconds apart in best lap time. There may be others that run closer but how fast are their frontrunners? We KNOW how fast ours are.

You got data on the AI times at that track? Interested to see the gap between AI/Duece and AI/CMC to compare to TX...

We could probably make something like this for a little less than $20 a piece (depends on how many). I just threw this together real quick as an example.

Which event did you use?

I think I should post it on the nat site :D

Glenn-IIRC Schotz took out his CMC car for practice and turned a 1:34 which was about 3 seconds faster than any of the guys racing CMC. Ginsberg might know more on this. My understanding in Cali is that CMC2 is about 1.5 seconds faster than CMC if you compared fast guys in both classes. But if Schotz ran a 1:34 in his CMC car that kind of shoots down that theory.

JJ-you are right that the field is very close. Thats one of the things that attracted me to the group is close competitive racing and I didn't want to drive a Pinata.

Yeah I remember hearing something about shirts and those CD's. Forgot all about those and forgot that I owe Jay for paying for my CD-if I don't remember at ECR put my right pinky in a set of bolt cutters till I cough up the money.

May.

May Buttonwillow which is the big fast course according to Adam...

Ryan walton ran a 1:31.1 which put him 6.7 seconds faster than CMC in R1.

That track is faster and bigger than TWS and we have the same interval between AI/CMC...at slower speeds. Either the WC CMC guys are REALLY fast, or the AI guys aren't so fast?! I hope it's the latter! ;)

I designed this at http://www.customink.com/

I think the price as I had it designed would be $18 each if we ordered about 20 of them. There may be cheaper sites to make them too. That is just the first site that came up on google. If everyone wants to do shirts, I would be glad to put them together.

If anyone has any ideas for changing the design, let me know.
