Great music :?

I think bringing Trans Am back along the lines of the World Challenge ruleset would have been better than the tube frame cars (although the tube cars are cool). Get the big three back together for one more romp before they all go under.

The world through Bryan's eyes at 4:20 ...

Dang-Trans Am brought out the babes!!

I thought the same thing that Mosty was on at 3:45 and me at 4:09.

Mitch-the plate under my eye corrected my vision and it was only double most of the time. That is until a few bud lights and I would have to cover my left eye just like James Edward did when he became James Edward Scissorhands.

Yeah, I was trying to figure the track as well. Some of it looks like Watkins Glen. Part of it looks like the exit from the back straight into the Boot. The front straight is possible too, but it would have to have been before the inside bleachers and garages were built. I have no idea when that was.

But I pretty much grew up at that track in the 70's and 80's.

Did you notice that Pontiacs started 1-2 ...

The Glen makes sense. The corner exit where the porsche runs a little wide looks like the current exit onto the front staright.

You're not supposed to count the first two cars with drama queens in the back seat waving to the crowd.

Now you guys got me analyzing this film.
I think I may have unlocked a hidden mystery.
Was there ever an AMC Scrambler competing in Trans Am?
See 1:29, on the outside row...looks to be Car #11.
That ain't no Camaro or Mustang or Javelin...

FINALLY, you guys are on the same page!

Thought they said 1969.
I was 7.
I was thinking Road America, Watkins or Limerock.
Maybe Mosport.

I was gonna say an Alfa GT but they did not make them in '69 and the grill is all wrong anyway - and I don't think the Alfetta had such a large rear deck - I was looking for Alfa's cause they were supposed to have been in the '69 races. Dunno..seems to not have he deck lid of a Javelin. Damn you Todd...I've watched that damn segment 5 times now. ;)

Its car 10, not 11. 11 is a little later on, inside, and that is a camaro. Cougar Eliminator maybe?

Lime Rock

So far we've got a Scrambler or Eliminator at Lime Rock or Watkins Glenn with the cake-eaters starting on P1 & P2.

I'll have to analyze it again this evening.

No Fords, Pontiacs ... and at Riverside.

Might have been at several tracks, but Lime Rock is one of them for sure. Connecticut plates in the crowd.

That was awesome, Bud! Great Race!
That big, bad Camaro was holding up the little, nimble Ford fo sho.

Hey....there seemed to be a lot of AMC S/C Ramblers in that race, weren't there?
