Hi All,

As you know, we have been struggling with our on-line presence over the last couple of years. Our goal has always been to provide a virtual community to show recognition to our customer's and staff, as well as attract new people to NASA Texas.

We are pleased to announce that we have been able to partner ourselves with the right person who can help us achieve this goal, Geri Amani. She is our Creative Director serving as Web Master and Event Photographer.

Go check out the new site. www.nasatx.com

Key things to remember: WORK IN PROGRESS :-)

1. Any of the car pictures we have used are from what we have available to us from recent events from our own files. We did get additional photos from Ken (TT Director), which we did not have a chance to incorporate, but we will.

We want the participants to send us other photos to incorporate. Pictures are things that we will be changing out so the site stays fresh. We want to use them as a way to recognize all of our participants (staff and drivers). We are even considering doing contest for photos. We want to utilize this as a way to stay in contact with our customers in between events. We will devise criteria and a process for photo submission.

1.Participants we have the ability to change out the photos and add photos. For this initial launch, we went with what we had and that the site is dynamic and will be kept fresh.

2. Also, I have noticed some information that is not as current as we need it to be. So we are also 'scrubbing" the site to make text updates to ensure that everything is accurate to the here and now.

3.Please keep in mind that this is an initial launch and that the goal is to make it more interactive and fresh.

4.The past comments have been taken into consideration in the development of this new site and what we still plan on doing. It is a good foundation for us to build upon. We want to stay focused on growing and delivering a positive message. A lot of time and effort has gone into getting the foundation built and we appreciate all of you that have contributed. THANKS GERI for accepting the position to help us bring our vision into reality. Team, keep the suggestions coming on what we can do from here to build upon what we have.

5. Hallet registration is open.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Guys, Geri is going to be a huge asset to NASA Texas and her cutting edge style will hopefully get us some more regional & national exposure thru her good work (photos, website, etc). We'll bring her around to our AI/CMC driver meetings so you guys can get to meet her in person.
