Look at the bright side ...

We suffer through one weekend of satan's wrath in return for weather that allows us to race in October and January.

Welcome home, brudda!

Jerry,

You missed the rain droplets we had on Wednesday and Thursday. I almost had to turn on the wipers on the way Thursday afternoon.

Pussy! I have been out in the heat for two days in the garage, welding, grinding and generaly dying while standing up! LOL!!! I drank nearly 2 gallons of water today.....sort of scary!!!

With my garage facing west, it sucks in the afternoons. I need to get a carport or an awning to create some shade.

oh, welcome back to hell!!! ;)

I love my Dad and his shop!
We got Marshall's "test transmission" pulled from Jeremy's car and the new trans back in and the car and on the ground in about 2-hours. It took a little long due to a beer break and I also had to adjust the A/C to get the optimum temperature inside the shop.
I then gave my car a wash and finished the final maintenance items to get her ready for TWS.

I look forward to seeing everyone next week, I'm ready for an awesome weekend!! 8)

Yea..What Al said..... Way too much information.

BTW.. Kendra and I went to the Caymans many years ago. Did you visit HELL?

We sent post cards from HELL and took pictures from HELL.

Do you scuba dive? We dove for about 3-4 day straight. Pretty cool diving there.

Didn't make it to Hell, but I've been to Hell, Michigan.

Don't dive, but we snorkeled our buts off.

See y'all this weekend.

Is it hot in TX? In July? How unusual. ;)

Hmmm....last I checked, it's 67^ in Ventura...oops, just went up to 68. Still some marine layer hanging around, waiting to burn off. Supposed to get warm tomorrow....70.

And ya'll wonder why I moved.....buwahahaha!! Although, I suppose I shouldn't laugh. Weather.com says our upcoming weekend in Fontana (AKA, Fon-tucky), will be 94/65 Fri, Sat and Sun. But, it's a dry heat. :)

Have fun, be safe, and share the stories after the weekend!

We won't fall into the ocean. California will become an island, and we can all surf to Denver. :)

Hey, it'll be mid 90s in Fontana this weekend too. I'll take the humidity, you can take the taxes, the broken budget, and the reams of conflicting and stiffling laws. 8)

I have spent the last month in New Mexico at altitude....at least 4400' the whole time and at 7400' today. Great weather in the 50's this am, up to 90 or so. Been pretty nice training for Utah. It makes a BIG difference in breathing.... today was absolutely fantastic at about 77 and no humidity....until it poured around 4:30pm! LOL!!!
