What's the universal fit aluminum radiator that some of the "cooler" Mustangs are running? If I remember correctly, it's Jeg's or Summit part.

I think this is the one I have and since I added the wind deflector Michael gave me it has not run hot at all.

I got a direct fit from Blue Oval for ~$200. It seems to be built pretty well.

This one is really cheap! $138 including shipping.

The e-bay one says "three row". I doubt that. Mine is a two row but the tubes are 1" wide.

It's a Griffin brand 19" tall by 29 or 30" wide. The one I just put in my car was $179...20 cheaper as it was narrower.

Pretty sure I got it from summit...

Oh, and it worked fantastic. Even with the smaller rad, ram air and brake ducts in my radiator box, it never went over 180 at TWS...

I am not a big fan of the epoxy style radiators. I had a Ron Davis leak twice on me due to the epoxy cracking. YRMV :)

Hey Rob or anyone too, I have a C&R Racing radiator that drops right in. It's a dual pass design so you have to swap sides on the upper hose and has a built in oil cooler tank in the end. VERY nice piece.

It has been repaired on one tube back in 2006 and doesn't leak. It does need a crap load of the "fins" straightened and I don't have the patience for it. It also needs a good bath to get a lot of track sealer off it from rain racing.

If someone wants it, I'd let it go for 75 bucks (probably $800 new). With my new setup it won't work anyway. Just want it out of the garage.

Rob,

I just ordered one of those 2 row Al $159 radiators from ebay the other day for a street car. I'll let you know what kind of quality they are when it gets here.

X3. The radiator has one season with no issues. Brackets needed a small tweek and the hoses are tight, but dropped in without any real issue. Much cheaper than the Mustang Griffin unit.

Have several years on mine. Have no issues. Still bring a spare to the track "just in case".

Sounds like Bud Sharp is just hard on radiators.
