Traveling Trophys / 2009 Banquet Planning. All-please read!

for thise who have traveling trophys from the AI/CMC Texas Region, i need you all you bring them to ECR. we need to have them available for updating the 2009 Champ's. as i recall off the top of my head:
AIX - LiiR Racing
AI - Team Downunder
CMC-2 - Mitch Warren
CMC- Jeff Burch

also - looking for ideas for the banquet for the 2009 season. looking at a the 2nd weekend of Nov, but open to other dates. open to location as ell as alternatives to previous years venuens.

If we can have it the week of Thanksgiving or on a weekend I have a better chance of making it..but definately prioritize the trophy winners wishes first...they deserve to be there.

I'd like to request that Clifton hook us up with the Sports Museum in Waco for the location. Reason I ask is that Eric Varner and TEK Racing has been working tirelessly for 100's of hours on your 2009 Season Recap video (now in HD!!!) and that location has a bitchin' theater with sound system which will accomodate the main event nicely.

What happened to the idea of the Harris Hill day plus banquet? Or are they not tied together?

Two great ideas but don't complement each other very well.

Harris Hill is fun...but would be a challenge getting family and doing dinner, trophys, season video.

Banquet is fun...but would be a challenge doing lead follows, drifting thru the turns, practicing standing starts and such.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

I have left enough scrap parts on track this year....no need to give me any more to take back home. If I left it on track, I don't want it back!!!! Thankfully, some of the stuff made it onto other cars!!! Maybe you could call it the "involuntary loaning of parts to fellow racers" award?! LOL!!!
