Sold the Lexus last week and bought my third Lightning today off e-bay. Can't wait to get it here. I miss my 03. The Lightnings are more fun than a C6!

Not this one. I hope to drive it for four or five years. It has only 19,000 miles on it.

I may fly up to Baltimore and drive it back. I don't know yet.

Nice find, Jerry!
My Lightning will turn over 190,000 on the way to work tomorrow....and I still love driving it today like the day I got it.

(no comments, Liebbe. )

My Expedition has 192,000 miles on it now, burns oil at the rate of 1 qt every 1,000 miles, handles for shit, sucks down gas at a high rate, and has dents. Glad I don't drive it every day.

Luckily, it is/was my wife's daily driver and it has been a good vehicle for us. Replaced it last night with a brand spankin' new Toyota Highlander. The Expedition will stick around for towing duties.

Oh yeah - my Expedition won a 50 mph rolling drag race while towing race cars trailers against Todd's Lightning. 8)

Damn nice truck there Jerry, hopefully you will show the speedo more than 80 mph unlike the previous owner.

Hmmm, I do not seem to remember my Lightning losing to your Expy, which means my L should not lose to Tod.....D'oh

He's making up stories, Bud.
I was more nervous about how he'd comment on my "Death Wobble" from years back. Now that it's fixed, it's a smooth runnin' truck again.

No worries on his oil burner beatin' my Lightning....or Jerry's new truck.

(There. Back on topic.)

Todd's in denial - it was after a Houston event, back when Todd still raced so it has been a while, on the off-ramp from Hwy 59 to 610. I beat him by a half a fender!!!!!

Nice truck, Jerry.

Oh that time....my lane was ending, I had to merge and you Landrum'd me.

That doesn't count.

Was there a traffic cone? If so, you had to brake and exit so to give him the whole freeway.

1529 miles. I drove from California MD. to Bristol, TN. Friday night then from Bristol to Jay's house in Frisco yesterday then home from Frisco this morning. The truck is perfect! Worth every mile.
