Genoa's parent company selling shares in an Indy Lights team in order to make it accessible to all enthusiasts

For the 2010 and 2011 Indy Racing League (IRL) seasons, Speedway Stables L.L.C. plans to syndicate (i.e. sell shares in) a FIL team. Leveraging a winning heritage that spans three decades, the team will be managed and operated by Genoa (www.genoalights.com).
For less than you’d think (hint: roughly the price of a new BMW M3 or comparable sports car) an investor can own a syndicate share (6% of the team) of and benefit from:
• Ownership of equipment and all other assets of the team (including driver contract)
• Entertain your clients and guests with exclusive access / participation in all team activities (e.g. team meetings, hard card access at race events, team hospitality, etc.)
• Ride-along opportunities at various tests and/or race events
• Significant tax benefits
• Prize money (conservatively estimated at between $150K and $250K annually)
• Sponsorship money (conservatively estimated at between $100K and $300K annually)
• A significant portion of the driver’s future earnings (after being “called up” to IndyCar®, NASCAR, F1, etc.)
• Future growth opportunities (e.g. Indy 500 or full IndyCar® participation)
Aside from all the value derived from the customer entertainment opportunities, the exclusive once-in-a-lifetime experiences, the pleasure of ownership and participation, and the potential growth opportunities, there’s good investment potential as well. In addition to the anticipated tax benefits, the investor will get a share of the prize money, sponsorship revenue, the liquidation value of the equipment and other assets, and the driver’s future earnings.
At the conclusion of the 2011 season, there are several exit strategy options, including: sale of the assets, sale of the driver contract only, sale of the equipment only, re-investment of the proceeds, growth into full or part-time IndyCar® Series team, etc.
And ‘Yes’ you CAN drive the car! Genoa can help facilitate you getting your racing license so that you can participate in future private testing and/or League events.
