For 17s, buy C5 Z06 Corvette front wheels. 17x9.5 and 19lbs.

For 18s, N73 option Magnesium Corvette rear wheels. $4000 option on '97-'03 Corvettes when new. Cheap when curbed or the paint is chipped.

18x9.5 and 19lbs. Ended up costing about $600/set buying 2 at a time.

The fronts are 17x8.5 and weigh ~16lbs. I have two for sale if you're interested. One is mint, the other is curb rashed pretty bad. $150 shipped for the pair of 17s.

What is the back spacing?? I already have a set of 17s that require something like 2 inch spacers

Are you SURE you want to go with 18s...the price point on tires is a pain in the wallet!
Of all the decisions I made on the car, going with 18s is the one that has me closest to regret...the extra $200+ per set of tires gnaws at me every once in a while (like when it comes time to buy tires...like now)

Also, with 18's you can't find take-offs to use for practice or spares.

Backspacing is high. 17s are 56mm and 18s are 62mmm IIRC.

I run the adapters in the front and 4th gen width rear end to make it work.

I looked at it as paying for adapters once vs. paying more for wheels whenever I need another set.

PS- 18" RA1s are stupid expensive. $1500/set vs. $900/set for 17s.

I setup for 18" wheels thinking I was going to be able to run $60/tire World Challenge R888 take-offs to save money.

I have a stock set of Corvette wagon wheels. It would get you halfway on both sizes!
